For our client, an international leading global Bank, we are looking for a Security Engineer. For this contract position we are looking for an candidate who can start as soon as
possible. Your main responsibilities will be:
- Analyse complexity and feasibility of new or changed requirements
- Advise on existing and planned systems
- Within specified architecture, define platform requirement sizing, network and controlling components and system software
- Plans and evaluates systems, creates technical specifications and develops and unit and basic integration testing according to specified requirements

- Maintain documentation relevant to operations (operation manual, installation guide, etc.
Anforderungen:
Requirements:
- Experience in Operating system/middleware hardening and security audits
- Ability to implement audit checks based on Center for Internet Security benchmarks
- POSIX permissions model: RBAC, SUID/SGID, sticky bits, octal/symbolic notation etc.
- Ability to set up a working lab environment required for testing of checks/standards
Good understanding of:
- Configuration parameters in Apache, Tomcat and importantly WebSphere
- Administrative security settings in AIX, Solaris, RHEL
- Common infrastructure, including Active Directory, GPO and Kerberos
- User database roles, permissions-model, security settings in Oracle/Sybase/MS-SQL
- Familiarity with technologies and tools such as SELinux, netstat, grep, process table
- Understanding of processes within a bank
- Englisch and German
